| Exceptional School of Massage was established in 1980 by massage therapists Suzie Swedish and Melody Myo to provide an outstanding foundation in massage therapy. Students complete 500 hours of training in Swedish massage, myofascial release, and deep tissue, while learning to work with a variety of client groups, including pregnant women and the elderly. An optional 100-hour program allows interested students to pursue training in spa therapies. With this training, graduates are ready to take the state licensing exam and gain credentials as a licensed massage therapist. These credentials allow our graduates to pursue careers in a number of settings like spas, massage clinics, chiropractor offices, gyms, hospitals, and wellness centers.
